I love this bible verse, it shows God's tenderness perfectly.
We are all body, soul and spirit, and what's beautiful is that Jesus died for all of us.
I find so intriguing that our Saviour has placed eternity in every human heart, because it explains why we humans are always looking for something more and beyond what our eyes can see; even those who don't want to believe in God's existence.
We long for what's eternal, but when we don't understand we were made to fill ourselves with the presence of God, we look for it in other places, we try satisfying the void with what the world offers, leaving us depressed and more empty.
Yes, we are all looking for something that isn't temporary, for something that makes sense, that has a reason and a purpose, and that's because we have eternity in our hearts.
We want to believe in something unseen, we have a natural faith, we have a spirit, but only God can truly satisfy and make life make sense for us. Give hope for something eternal.
