The Beauty Of Being Authentic

Luke 21🍂
While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins.
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

What an inspirational woman. How touching that Jesus saw her. I want to be just like her.

She had all the reasons to keep her coins and live in complaint, I can only imagine how difficult her life was, but her faith was not limited by the valley of emotional and financial brokenness she was facing, her faith made her give everything she had with certainty, she could see past her situation.

I want to follow her example and bring everything I have left and am afraid it'll run out to his presence. Just like the widow that had nothing at all but a small jar of oil in 2 Kings 4, for us this small jar of oil and these small coins might represent our energy. Our faith. Our trust. Our money.

But it's by giving our King Jesus all we have left that He will make it overflow.

What an example of faithfulness.
To take that small faith that is still there in you and believe Him again.

Don't keep it inside your frustration until you run out, use it so the miracle will overflow.
